nice small park. I think there were some great falls, but I had to hang my camera over a ledge to get a photograph to see them. I still have not edited my photographs for a better look yet.
Great place to relax
As someone who's been to over 30 different waterfalls in the New England region, this is not the most impressive waterfall. However, the sheer height of the cliffs and rocks surrounding the falls (and the fact that it is perfectly safe to swim upstream of the falls) makes it worthwhile trip. The walk is only about 100 yards so no need to worry about a long hike. If you're looking for something to do in Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, a visit to Big Falls should definitely be on your list.
Spectacular views! Very steep and high cliffs. Not recommended for younger children cuz that first step is a doozy!
Beautiful waterfalls along the Missisquoi River, hidden in northern Vermont. But be careful. Sheer cliffs most likely would cause fatalities.
